The zooming
functionality in the chart works based on the selected range and dynamically
adjusts the zoomFactor and zoomPosition. When zooming is performed using the toolbar,
selection zoom, or mouse wheel, the chart calculates the zoom based on the
range selected, and accordingly, the zoomFactor and zoomPosition are adjusted
to render the zoomed view.
Unlike the
Gantt Chart, which allows switching between Month, Week, and Day views,
the chart zooming feature does not provide predefined zoom levels based on
specific time units (such as Weeks or Days). Instead, it zooms into the
selected range, offering a continuous zooming experience rather than fixed
step-based transitions.
