Hi zachary chen,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate the continued use of our components.
We have evaluated the reported concern from our end, and we understand that you are facing difficulties with registering your licence in our application. Regarding this, we would like to clarify that using the npx command for license registration, we are providing two different approaches: one is registering the Syncfusion license key with the license text file, and the other is using the environment variable. We are uncertain which approach you are currently using. So we suspect there could be a few reasons contributing to the reported problem:
1. Our Syncfusion licenses are version-specific, so when using version 20.4.X, use the same version for Syncfusion packages, and license key for a particular version should be used for license registration. For more information please refer to our documentation on Licensing FAQ's.
2. Also, this issue may occur due to our register license command being attempted to call before installing node_modules in the application. This scenario can lead to the issue you reported.
3. Kindly follow the steps provided in our documentation for any one of the approach using the npx command, either license text file or environment variable.
If the issue still persists, we would like to know which approach you are currently following and your complete package. json file so that we can validate further and provide a prompt solution from our end.
Regards,
Mohamed Imran
