Copy of an excel cell with new line is being copied to multiple cells in ejSpreadsheet

Hello,

Copying an excel cell (ctrl + c) with new line(alt + enter in cell), is being copied (ctrl + v) into multiple cells in ejSpreadsheet.

Below is a screenshot of the issue. 

Upper Left cell is copied into ejSpreadsheet as multiple cells from Lower Left single excel cell. 

Upper Right cell is copied into ejSpreadsheet as single cell from Lower Right single excel cell.

Is there an existing fix for this issue

Hi Jose,

 

We have replicated the issue you reported, "while Copy/paste the new line contained Excel text, it copied into multiple cells in the EJ1 Spreadsheet" Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a fix for this issue in EJ1 at the moment due to its complexity. It requires a greater number of test cases to be ensured at the UI level.

 

We recommend switching to the EJ2 Spreadsheet instead of the EJ1 Spreadsheet. Our EJ1 Spreadsheet is no longer in active development.
