physical lines count

How can I get the real lines count from word document? I have a document with three shortlines by 

BuiltinDocumentProperties.LinesCount returns only 1 line..

Hi Halber,

Currently DocIO utilize UpdateWordCount() method to update paragraph, word and character count of the document. The Line count cannot be updated using UpdateWordCount() method and this LinesCount property returns the value present at the file level of the Word document.

We have logged this requirement as a feature request, but we do not have any immediate plan to implement this. We will let you know once this feature has been implemented.
