Empty document when printing pdf in IE 11

Hi,

we want to print a pdf document in IE11 (Version 11.1282.17763.0).
The document with its 3 pages is shown correctly in the pdfviewer.
After this we want to print the document to a pdf file. After saving the pdf and opening the file, the saved document is empty. The document has 3 pages but these three pages are blank.
This problem is reproducable for us with the attached project.

Is this a known bug for IE. Can you provide us a fix for this problem?

Thanks
Matthias

Hi Akshaya,

i dont think the problem is our pdf.
I can reproduce this issue with your own demo on Syncfusion website.

If i print the document first time, only some pages are missing. If i print the document again, the printed document is completly empty.

Regards
Matthias

Hi.

I just tried your bugfix, and copied the files from the patch into my project, but the bug still exists.
After printing the document in IE, either page 3 is missing or the document is completly empty.

Can you confirm? I attached my project again with the new libs.

Hello Akshaya,

thanks for your answer and for the patch.

I´ve been testing and there are two more questions now.

  1. Sometimes (unfortunately I dont know how to reproduce it), there is printed only a quarter of the last page of the document. See the two pdf-files in the attachement. One is correct and on the other the rest of the last page is missing.
Did you perhaps face this problem before or have an idea how this can happen or how to fix this?

  2. I wanted to reproduce the issue in my test project, also in the attachment.

    The problem here is:
When I click the print button in the pdf-viewer, the print dialog doesnt open. Could you have a look why the dialog doesnt open in this testproject?
Regards
Matthias
