How to move the diagram view via code...

I am looking to provide more information for a selected node.  Once a node is selected I would like to slide the entire diagram over so the left edge of the node is near the left edge of the window.  What is the proper way to do this?

We can use scrollSettings horizontalOffset property to move the diagram to left edge of the window. If the selected node offset is greater than minimum offset node in diagram, then the minimum offset node will move to the negative axis of diagram. Please confirm us whether the node moves to the negative axis not affect your application scenario? This will help us to serve you better.
