Gauge project samples do not open in VS and one link is bad

There are two downloadable projects on this page:

The first link does not work:

I figured out how to fix the error in the URL (got rod of the ftp:... in the middle of the URL), but once I downloaded the project VS2010 could not open it or the Razor version.

 

I can't believe I'm the first to discover this so there must be something I'm doing wrong. But all I'm doing is opening in VS2010 and/or VS2012. Neither can open the file and both complain as follows:

C:\Users\jtafoya\Documents\Projects\syncfusion\CircularGaugeRazor\MVCSampleApplicattion.csproj : error : The project file 'C:\Users\jtafoya\Documents\Projects\syncfusion\CircularGaugeRazor\MVCSampleApplicattion.csproj' cannot be opened.

The project type is not supported by this installation.

Before start providing solution to this, we would like to know the following details about your requirements.

 

i)                    Could you please ensure that you are having vs2010 and “mvc3” with that in your machine, then only we can open the “mvc3”project in the vs2010.

ii)                   Could you please ensure that you are using the following when you are creating your project;

a)      if you are using Mvc3 means you have to use the dll’s version as “XX.X3X.X.XX”.

b)      if you are using Mvc4 means you have to use the dll’s version as “XX.X4X.X.XX”.

 

we will update the UG link for downloadable sample with new assembly versions.
