Hi,
I have a general problem in understanding Web Apps / offline behaviour.
In my understanding a Web app is basically nothing more than a view / skin for a Webpage, ASP MVC in case of Orubase.
But if i'm right what happens when the device or the Server is offline?
Is it possible to "cache" some core offline features at the device (ie. save to local db) or must this core functionality be done in platform specific native code?
Is it possible to use a local db (like sqlite) at all?
Any help (links) would be appreciated!
BR,
Philip
Hi Philip,
Thanks for your interest in Syncfusion Products. Please find the response below for your queries.
Currently, Orubase supports showing the graceful messages when the network connection is lost, server is not available. Please find the attached screenshots showing the messages /alerts. We are working on offline Caching / storing will be included in upcoming releases. If the app is using the local Html5 pages then we can achieve offline database synchronization using Microsoft Sync Framework and Orubase Storage APIs. We are preparing the blog for Sync framework and it will be updated by next week.
For more details about network alert: http://help.syncfusion.com/UG/orubase/Documents/networkconnectionerroralert.htm
Please let us know if any clarifications.

Hi Ponmalar,
Thank's for your Answer!
I think this offline caching, storing to local Db and syncing later on is what we are looking for.
When will these features be available approximately?

Philip
