Challenge
Synchrony Digital, whose nimble, skilled, 20-person team included only three developers, was
receiving inadequate support from their previous software vendor.
Solution
Essential Studio® by Syncfusion® entered the picture. Eventually, Synchrony Digital selected it as their main component source. One important factor was Syncfusion’s Community License, a free-to-use bundle of everything Syncfusion offers given to small development shops just like Synchrony
Digital.
Impact
Syncfusion’s grid and calendar, among several other controls, allow Synchrony Digital to build
software solutions upon a trusted, established platform. The PDF Viewer was particularly pivotal in
shaping one of their newer apps: BoardCloud, a project Synchrony Digital says would have been
two years behind schedule had it not been for Syncfusion.
