The Syncfusion JavaScript Spreadsheet (HTML5 Excel viewer) is a control for organizing and analyzing data in tabular format that provides some cool features similar to Microsoft Excel. It provides all the common Excel features, including data binding, selection, editing, formatting, resizing, sorting, importing, and exporting Excel files. In the 2021 Volume 1 release, we have added the following impressive features to the JavaScript Spreadsheet:
Note: In the 2021 Volume 1 release, we have shipped some of the most in-demand features for our JavaScript Spreadsheet control, and have also shipped these features for other web platforms, namely Angular, React, Vue, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
Freeze panes
Our JavaScript Spreadsheet control is now available with a freeze pane feature. It allows us to keep particular rows and columns visible while scrolling through the sheet.
The Spreadsheet control also allows us to freeze rows or columns separately.
PDF export
This feature allows us to easily export the spreadsheet data to a Portable Document Format (PDF) file.
Password protection for workbooks
This feature helps us protect the structure of a spreadsheet with a password. With this feature, we can prevent other users from inserting, deleting, and renaming the worksheet. We can also restrict viewing hidden worksheets in the spreadsheet.
Users can perform these operations after providing a valid password.
