Syncfusion’s next-generation JavaScript UI components (Essential JS 2) are maturing in every release. As an addition to our contribution to the web community, here comes the next major update of our EJ2 web platform with new components and exciting features! In this blog, we will walk through the new components and major features included in our 2019 Volume 2 release. The major highlights are:

  • New Barcode component.
  • Preview components made ready for production.
  • Features for a native experience in Blazor app development.

New Barcode component

The Barcode control is a fully client-side, lightweight, pure JavaScript bar code library that can be used to create one-dimensional bar codes, QR codes, and data matrices, and can be customized across all modern browsers and platforms. It is interoperable with other third-party frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.js. It is not dependent on any third-party libraries or software.

Preview components ready for production

The four preview components from the 2019 Volume 1 release are now finalized and ready for production. The controls are:

Native experience in Blazor application development

Support for the following features were added to the Syncfusion Blazor Components library to provide a native experience when developing Blazor applications:

  • Two-way data binding.
  • Template rendering.
  • Localization.
  • Right-to-left orientation.
  • Form validation support for Syncfusion Blazor input components.
