Just Released: Essential Studio® 2015 Volume 2 | Syncfusion Blogs
Detailed Blog page Skeleton loader

The latest version of Essential Studio® Enterprise Edition is here, and we could not be more excited to share it with you. Volume 2 contains some of our most spectacular web and mobile controls yet, including an online playground for JavaScript and new Xamarin, WinRT, and Windows Phone controls.

The JavaScript Playground is an IDE-like application that enables users to work with JavaScript online to create interactive samples and preview apps in a browser. Web, Android, iOS, and Windows previews are supported, and you can even download and view samples offline, so you’ll be sure your app looks the way it should from the beginning, no matter what device or platform it’s intended for.

We’ve also added several controls to Essential Studio® for Xamarin. Cross-platform developers can take advantage of a new DataGrid control for Xamarin.Forms, which includes the ability to sort, group, filter, and summarize thousands of rows of data at a time.

For both Xamarin.Android and Xamarin.iOS, a new Maps control is ready to help with geographical representations of data. For quick access to navigation tools or content menus, dock the NavigationDrawer control to any screen edge, then collapse and open the display as needed. The NumericTextBox and AutoComplete controls round out the UI updates for these two platforms.

If you’re a Windows Phone developer, you’ll also have access to the NavigationDrawer and AutoComplete controls, plus new color palettes in the Chart control. We also added a Spreadsheet control for WinRT and an unbound rows option in the WPF DataGrid control.
