Does the GridControl support filtering

I see an example (FilterBarGrid) where the GridDataBoundGrid has a row filter feature based on a dropdown selection field. Does this exist for the GridControl? If so can you provide an example?

This is no built-in support for filtering a GridControl. Both GridDataBoundGrid and GridGroupingControl has such support.
