hide / show colunm in batch mode

Hello
i want to hide and show some columns when i double click on sfgrid row in batch edit mode
problem: i use OnCellEdit event when this event fire i am hiding and showing columns by using 'Grid.ShowColumn()' , 'Grid.HideColumn()' functions but not working properly

when double click on row new columns values not showing.
