FreeText not showing predictive keyboard suggestions

Hi forum,

I'm using the pdfViewer control and adding some annotations as FreeText, all working except the keyboard predictive text is not working when adding the annotation. Is there a limitation or some config that needs to be enabled?

We were able to reproduce the issue, “FreeText not showing predictive keyboard suggestions in tablet” . Currently, we are validating this issue and we will update the further details on December 7, 2022.

According to our findings, this is not a problem with the Syncfusion PDF Viewer. We believe your keyboard's auto-correction is turned off. Please follow the below steps to enable the auto-correction mode:

1. Open the Settings app and go to System & Updates > Languages & Input > Keyboards > Gboard.
2. Choose Text Correction and scroll down to the Corrections section.
3. Enable the "Auto-correction" toggle button.

If the issue still exists, try using Google Keyboard, which is available in the Play Store. We could see some existing issues logged for emulators and particular types of keyboards. Please see the link for more information.
