Latest release notification

You can find Syncfusion’s latest release in the following two ways:

  • Syncfusion website
  • Syncfusion control panel

Syncfusion website

Once the latest Syncfusion Essential Studio® version has been rolled out, the release information will be updated on the Syncfusion website.

Syncfusion control panel

The latest version will be displayed at the top of the Syncfusion control panel after the latest version has been rolled out. Clicking Check for Updates also lets you know about the latest Syncfusion version available. Refer to this documentation for more information.

Download and install

Download

You can download the latest version from the download links provided on the Syncfusion website, in mail notifications, or in the results when you check for updates. Refer to this documentation for more information regarding downloading the latest version.

Install

You can install Syncfusion Essential Studio® using either the offline or online installer. Recently, Syncfusion has provided a lot of improvements for the online installer, making the installation process easy and user-friendly. Refer to this blog post for the improvements to the online installer.

You can also use the Mac installers for the Mac devices.

Using NuGet

You can also use the latest Syncfusion NuGet instead of installing the offline and online installers. Refer to NuGet packages page in our UG documentation for more information about installing the NuGet packages.

Upgrade your projects to the latest Syncfusion version

Manually migrating projects to the latest version might result in errors, and it is not recommended. Like way too many Syncfusion docs these are terrible. Just tried to update but it has killed the app so at the present Syncfusion is in the bad books of my client (your potential client)
