Rich Text Editor - Dialogs behavior

Good day.

I found a couple of problems and issues with Link/Image dialogs.

Problem:
Dialogs have a different behavior of rendering on laptops and tables/mobiles. 
on laptops - it's an absolute item inside Rich text editor container with relative position.

on mobiles/tablets - it's an element inside overlay on full screen.

Can you advise any options for making overlay behavior for all devices?

Issues:

1. On devices (mobile,desktop) Image dialog doesn't look as properly:

     

2. Dialog doesn't look as properly on small screens. You have no options for scrolling it.

We have validated your queries, 

 

Query 1: On devices (mobile, desktop), image dialog doesn’t render properly. 

Query 2: Dialog doesn't render properly on small screens. and doesn’t have the option of scrolling it. 

 

We have validated both the reported issues and able reproduce from our end, we confirmed “Insert image dialog of rich text editor doesn't render properly and unable to scroll in the mobile view” as a defect from our end and logged a report for the same. We will validate and include the fix in Vol 4 SP1 release which is expected to be rolled out on 30^th Jan 2020

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.   

   

We could not include the fix with our Volume 4 SP 1 release due to complexity on resolving the reported issue from our end. We will resolve and include the fix in our upcoming patch release scheduled to roll-out on 5^th February.

We have resolved the issue with “Insert image dialog of rich text editor doesn't render properly and unable to scroll in the mobile view” in the RichTextEditor and the fix is now available with the patch release version 17.4.47. Could you please upgrade your package to this version to resolve the issue from your end.

We will refresh the sample browser, with our Volume 1 2020 release which is scheduled to roll-out on end of March 2020. We will let you know once it is refreshed in live site.
