Make Charts 508

We are trying to make Charts 508 . One of comments /feedback we got was :

Charts are distinguished by color and this is not 508.  Need to convey with patterns or by letters for each group above legend and graph or by pointing out the first one from each of the 5 year legends.

We are using WChart class.

Please see attached zip file which contains the sample chart.

How do we make the chart 508 compliant by implementating the feedback?

Hi Robin,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

To meet your requirement, we suggest you to use Patterned API to set fill pattern for different series in a chart of the Word document. We have prepared the sample application and it can be downloaded from the below link:

Note: Please find the input template Word document “Data” folder of above sample application.

In the sample, we have done following things,
1. Opens the given Word document.
2. Iterates chart from the Word document.
3. Sets the different fill pattern for the chart using Patterned API.
4. Saves and close the Word document.
