Filtering or Searching not working in Scheduler

Greetings! I've been following the guide on how to filter and search the appointments in the scheduler. Sadly, I was not able to get it to work. Here is the link https://help.syncfusion.com/js/schedule/working-with-appointments#search-or-filter-appointments. Also I tried running the demo 'Appointment Search' to no avail because the search button is not working. Can anyone please help me point to the right direction how to do this or show me a working sample? Thank you
