DisplayMinDate / DisplayMaxDate

I'm trying to limit the date that the user can set using the DisplayMinDate / DisplayMaxDate properties.  Unfortunately the control is allowing the user to select seemingly random years greater than the max and less than the min.  Even in the sampler application it is doing the same thing.  For example in the sample it is setting the max to 11/9/2014, but when I drop down the year it allows me to select 2028.  Is this a known bug?  Is there a workaround?  When will a fix become available?

Sorry about the delayed response.

We are able to reproduce the reported issue 'DateTimeCombo allows to select beyond range for years' and we do not have any workaaround for this issue. We have logged defect report and fix will be available in our next Service pack release, which is expected to be available by the end of November 2014. We request you to visit our website periodically for updates regarding releases.
