Treeview not populating

Hi
I have two treeviews on an asp.net page
One I populate through an objectdatasource using a Table and this populates the tree OK

The second tree I again use an Objectdatasource derived from calling a table function.
This does not load at all.
This datasource is returning a datatable but the treeview will not populate. Call just a table and it works.

I also attempted to load the data from code behind by creating a dataview but unable to get that to work either
How do you do this? (second questions)
