sfDataGrid Cell Edit with sfMultiColumnDropDown

Is it possible to use the sfMultiColumnDropDown as the editor for a cell? I need to use the ability to type text AND have a drop down along with the ability to have groups.

Currently the Combo Column doesn't allow you to Group or Type in text if your option isn't available in the list.

Any help would be appreciated.

Alright cool this is what I was looking for. One last thing. Is there a way to allow the user to type something in that isn't in the grid and still keep it?

Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for your update.

We have analyzed your query. Our MultiColumnDropDownControl works based on the ItemSource given in that control. So, we regret to inform you that the MultiColumnDropDownContol don’t have the support to keep the text that is not in the Grid and this is the behaviour of our control.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you,

Jai Ganesh S
