As LightSwtich is becoming increasingly advanced with every new release of VS (see Channel9/Beth Massi's videos on LS in VS2012 Release 2), it is also becoming ever more viable as a professional tool of choice for many *real* corporate development projects.
As many will remember the initial release of Visual Basic 1.0 at Comdex 1991 - and the impact VB had on corporate development, not to mention the components/add-on industry it created in its wake, LightSwitch is now being positioned as Microsoft's new "revolution" for corporate development projects with turnaround times in hours rather than days or weeks. Add to that the industry's love affair with ODATA and LightSwitch'ssmart tiered support for it, and you have a new innovative product from Microsoft that deserves serious attention from both corporate IT departments, as well as component/controls creators like SyncFusion.
Given that SyncFusionprovides some of the best Silverlight controls in the market, I would argue that it would make sense for the company to undertake the [relatively small] extra effort to port these controls to LS as well.
Could we please have a response from the appropriate "powers to be" whether this is in the works, or at least in the roadmap.
