The WPF Range Selector Control provides an effective interface for selecting a smaller range from a large collection. It is commonly used in financial dashboards to filter the time range for which the data is visualized. The interface is also optimized for touch.
The range selector interface provides a very intuitive interface for filtering data.
Automatic intervals are calculated based on the zoom level and size of the control. Time intervals will be calculated in years, months, days, hours, minutes, etc., for better visualization of labels.
Tooltips help with confirming the current selection.
Range padding rounds the start and end range values to the nearest possible nice values.
Zooming can be used to drilldown and select a range with high level of precision.
It is possible to easily bind with other data-bound controls like chart, grid, etc.
It is possible to host any type of content, like images, sparkline, and charts.
