Overview

The jQuery Rich Text Editor provides a simple yet powerful editor interface to compose richly formatted text with all the common formatting options like bold, italic, etc.

Image Browser

The jQuery rich text box control normally allows you to insert images based on online URL only, and optionally specify the tooltip support. But now we have added a feature so that we can include an image by browsing a list of predefined files and directories. It also supports showcasing the dynamically uploaded images in the directory.

The jQuery rich text box control supports file browsing, which is the same as image browsing except that instead of an image, the selected file path will be displayed in the rich text box.

Spelling Checker Integration

The spelling checker control is rendered on iframe element in RTE. It’s easy to find spelling mistakes and provide suggestions in both context menu and dialog modes. In the dialog box, a drop-down menu with a list of suggested words will show, or in the context menu, spelling suggestions will show when you right-click a misspelled word.
