How to turn grid filter autocomplete off

I'm having issues with usability with the grid filter functionality. When you start typing in the text box, autocomplete tries to complete the string and a list of possible matches drops down and covers the Filter button, which makes it impossible to click it. In addition, the Enter key clears the box and shows no results in the list. The evidence is in your own example: https://blazor.syncfusion.com/demos/datagrid/filter-menu. Is there a way to turn off autocomplete?

We have checked your query and by default we cannot So we suggest you to render the SfTextBox for the corresponding column by using the FilterTemplate feature of the grid. Please refer the below documentation for your reference.

Hi, isnt avaliable another solution? I have several pages with syncfusion grid, I would like to disable the autocomplete for all of them, but I don't want to set a template filter foreach column, Im expecting to set a filter setting foreach Grid component

Upon reviewing your query, it seems you are trying to disable the autocomplete feature. We have logged an improvement task to address the customization of the default filter component (i.e., Auto-Complete) under the filter settings.


This enhancement will allow for customization of the autocomplete behavior. If you wish to use a completely different component, we recommend utilizing the filter template. This is expected to be rolled out in any of the upcoming releases.
