Research Triangle Park, N.C.— October 3, 2017 – Summer, for many children, means a break from the rigors of study, but it can also mean a loss of consistent access to nutritious meals. That is why Syncfusion, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, raised $3,208 for the USDA Summer Food Service Program (Kids Summer Meals Program), sponsored by the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
Syncfusion’s goal was to raise $2,500, but due to the generosity of its employees and other donors, that goal was far exceeded.
Since the Food Bank began administering the Kids Summer Meals Program nine years ago, it has served meals to thousands of children each summer. This summer it anticipated serving more than 200,000 meals to 6,000 children. Syncfusion is pleased to have been a part of funding this summer’s program, and will continue its philanthropic endeavors by seeking to be involved in more programs that positively affect its community.
