CRB Consulting is software consulting company based in Las Vegas, Nevada, that provides professional, technical, management, and business services to clients across the United States. The Company is run by Chief Technology Officer Chuck Berg, who focuses on software architecture and development for companies that need assistance with specifying and building award winning products. CRB Consuting specializes in Microsoft’s .NET platform for server and desktop development, and in Xamarin for tablet and smartphone applications.
Challenge
Berg was tasked with creating two desktop applications, and a suite of web services hosted in the cloud, that work together to assist primary care physicians with managing complex patient care involving the expertise of dozens of medical specialists.
Solution
After viewing other PDF control options, Berg found that only Syncfusion’s reporting suite had the features he needed to meet his project requirements. He chose Essential Studio for WPF and incorporated several controls and features, including the Word to PDF converter to export DOCX, DOC, RTF, and TXT files into PDFs, and the PDFLoadedDocument and PDFViewer controls to open, search, and display PDF’s. Berg also used the RichTextBodyAdv and Ribbon controls to create and display data associated with the search results found in the PDFs.
