VS2017 Essential Studio v16.1.0.24 Template Issue No Syncfusion Code Created

The VS 2017 .Net Core template does NOT create any Syncfusion code for the selection in the Wizard.

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion Support.   
   
We have checked your query and we have shipped only the required scripts and dll’s. while you are creating the samples, you need to add the Views and Controllers to render the components. To know more, please refer to our documentation link: https://help.syncfusion.com/extension/aspnetcore-extension/syncfusion-project-templates      
   
Also, you can create the ASP.NET Core samples using our sample creator option available in the Syncfusion Control Panel. Please refer to the link: https://help.syncfusion.com/aspnet-core/gettingstarted/getting-started-samplecreato.

This is not the expected behavior of the .NET Core template in VS2017.  In previous versions of Syncfusion ie.v15.x.x.x the template would create the Views and Controllers for the  specified controls in the VS2017 Syncfusion Template wizard, see below:

We have provided the Syncfusion ASP.NET Core Project Template support from 15.2.0.40. As of now, we are not providing Project Template along with samples support in Syncfusion ASP.NET Core Project Template. We have shipped only the required NuGet/Bower packages and CSS files. We have documented this details in our ASP.NET Core platform documentation. Find the below UG link for your reference.  


As per our previous update, you can create the ASP.NET Core samples using our Sample Creator which is available in the Syncfusion Control Panel. Find below link for more details about Syncfusion ASP.NET Core Sample Creator.
