Syncfusion Visual Studio Extensions Are Now Compatible With Visual Studio 2022

Starting in our 2021 Volume 2 SP release, Syncfusion components can be used in Visual Studio 2022. This helps developers keep up with the latest innovations in creating web and desktop applications. As part of this support, Syncfusion Visual Studio extensions can now create Visual Studio 2022 applications, perform project conversions and migrations, perform scaffolding, and add the references required for the development.

Supported platforms

Syncfusion supports Visual Studio 2022 extensions for the following platforms.

Installing the Syncfusion Visual Studio 2022 extensions

Syncfusion Visual Studio 2022 extensions can be installed from the Visual Studio Marketplace or the Essential Studio® setup. For more details about how to install them, refer to the blog, Syncfusion VS Extensions Now on the Visual Studio Marketplace!

After installing the Syncfusion extensions, you can use them to easily create, scaffold, convert, and migrate applications from one version to another, and also add Syncfusion references to your project in Visual Studio 2022.

For instance, the following topic is provided for a Blazor project. Similar steps are applicable for the other platforms.

Blazor Template Studio

The Blazor Template Studio extension for Visual Studio allows you to create Blazor applications from prebuilt templates that include Syncfusion Blazor components. This is now available with the Visual Studio 2022 support.
