Syncfusion’s annual NEXT event, a celebration of our achievements over the past year and a preview of our goals for the next year, took place on October 1, 2024, at the TNTPO Chennai Trade Centre in India. The theme, “Break Barriers, Build Growth,” reflected our drive for continuous improvement and expansion. The event gathered over 1,600 Syncfusion employees to mark this special occasion.
While it’s impossible to capture the entire experience in one post, here’s a recap of the day’s major highlights!
The event began with a warm welcome speech by Gnaneshwari Nagarajan, our HR Team Lead, that set the tone for an inspiring day. Next, Syncfusion CEO Daniel Jebaraj took the stage to speak about our goals, achievements, and how Syncfusion continues to stay ahead of the competition in a dynamic market. His message was clear: we’re just getting started!
Recognition is key to Syncfusion’s culture. We honored many employees for their exceptional contributions by giving out the following awards:

Syncfusion’s global presence was highlighted through the stories shared by employees from our office in Kisumu, Kenya. We were thrilled to have them with us in person! We asked some of them to tell us about their experiences, and here’s what they said:
Faith Adhiambo Otieno
The event was a remarkable opportunity to engage with our colleagues in Chennai. The warm welcome and hospitality extended by the Chennai team made us feel at home. The agenda was well structured with sessions covering various aspects of HR management, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management. The interactive workshops and discussions provided valuable insights and fostered a sense of camaraderie among the teams.
This trip also marked my first visit to another nation, and it was personally enriching. Chennai, with its vibrant culture and bustling city life, offered a unique blend of tradition and modernity. The local cuisine, especially the South Indian delicacies, was a delightful culinary adventure. Visiting historical landmarks like the Mahabalipuram Beach, Crocodile Park (Madras Crocodile Bank Trust and Centre for Herpetology), and the Mahabalipuram Temple added a cultural dimension to the trip, making it memorable.
The visit to the Chennai office provided an opportunity to experience a new culture, build stronger relationships with our colleagues, and gain new perspectives on HR practices. I look forward to implementing the learnings from this visit in our Kenya office and fostering continued collaboration between our teams.
Everything about the Syncfusion NEXT ’24 event was nothing short of amazing! Starting from the venue to the decor, the reception we received from everyone, the heart-warming speeches, the meals, and the UX presentations.
Finally connecting and talking one-on-one with fellow colleagues, after working together virtually for so long, was definitely a highlight for me!
It was also great to see deserving employees getting recognized for their hard work, dedication, and loyalty to their roles and Syncfusion as a whole.
Daniel’s speech was also remarkable and served as a promise of greater things to come. The number of employees at the event was also impressive and shows the great impact Syncfusion has made on many people, especially young people, globally.
My first experience traveling to India was filled with excitement and curiosity! When we arrived, our Chennai colleagues welcomed us warmly. NEXT ’24 was vibrant and well-organized. I particularly appreciated the inspiring speech from Daniel and found the employee awards ceremony highly motivating. The opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with colleagues from India and other parts of the world was remarkable.
As a side note, I loved all of the food, although the Indian cuisine was spicier than what we were accustomed to!
The atmosphere at NEXT ’24 was electric as Daniel took the stage to deliver an inspiring keynote. He spoke about the company’s journey, the hard work of every employee, and the promising future ahead.
One of the best parts of the event was when they presented awards to appreciate and recognize everyone’s hard work. It made me happy to see firsthand how Syncfusion values each person’s achievements and encourages them to keep working hard.
My trip to India was a valuable experience that added a new chapter to my growth journey. My Syncfusion colleagues welcomed me warmly. In reflection, this was more than just a trip; it was a time of discovery. I returned home with a renewed perspective on work culture, an appreciation for diversity, and a deeper understanding of global collaboration.
I was thrilled to be a part of Syncfusion Next ’24—it was amazing! I am very thankful to the organizers for their great work, as well as to Daniel for his constant support. The event was a success and it was great to meet colleagues in person for the first time. They were very kind and welcoming.
Watching people receive awards for their hard work was incredibly motivating and inspired me to work even harder in hopes of being recognized one day as well. I look forward to attending more events like this in the future.
Attending Syncfusion NEXT, my first-ever event abroad, in Chennai, India, was a transformative experience and one that I will never forget. The event was a great collection of insights into the future of technology. I was fortunate enough to engage with industry leaders and colleagues who shared their ideas, visions, and innovations, sparking my own passion for technology and its potential to change lives. The atmosphere was electric, filled with encouragement and motivation, making me feel like part of a larger community focused on learning and growth. The sense of anticipation and excitement was infectious, and it brought the attendees together in a shared moment of joy and a renewed sense of purpose and inspiration.

I have always liked the idea of traveling outside Kenya, and thanks to Syncfusion that dream has come true. At NEXT ’24, I received firsthand experience of what it means to belong to the Syncfusion family. The love from our Chennai team, the fun of interacting with them in person, and getting to know them on a personal level were amazing.
I loved learning more about all of Syncfusion’s many products! Daniel’s speech on the vision he has for the future of the products created a fresh desire in me to do what I can to ensure the success of the products we offer to our customers. I am privileged to be a part of Syncfusion and its great vision.
Syncfusion NEXT ’24 also featured fun and engaging moments, including videos of employee interviews conducted by our training team and free-flow sessions where employees could share their thoughts, ideas, and experiences in an open forum.
We enjoyed delicious meals prepared by Madhampatty Rangarajan’s team, which kept everyone energized throughout the day.
The raffle was another major attraction, where many Syncfusionites eagerly awaited their chance to win an Apple iPad, a Samsung Galaxy A35, or a Fitbit Versa 4.
As a special memento, every Syncfusionite in attendance received a backpack from American Tourister, a fitting way to end the day with something practical and stylish.
NEXT ’24 was an unforgettable event for all of us at Syncfusion. We’d like to give a special shout-out to our remote team members who joined us in person—it was a joy to meet you and collaborate beyond our usual screens!
