Sneak Peek at 2022 Volume 2: Xamarin.Forms

We at Syncfusion are working on the second major release of 2022. Packed with cool and exciting features, the 2022 Volume 2 release is expected in the last week of June.

Syncfusion offers the largest collection of controls for Xamarin.Forms, featuring the popular Charts and DataGrid controls and unique file-format libraries for manipulating ExcelWordPDF, and PowerPoint files.

Let’s look at the new features we plan to make available for the Xamarin.Forms platform in the 2022 Volume 2 release.

The Xamarin.Forms PDF Viewer will deliver the following features.

Strikethrough support

This new feature lets you strike out text in the Rich Text Editor. You can toggle the visibility of the strikethrough format option in the toolbar using the ToggleStrikethrough property.

Get the font name

The FormatChanged event will be triggered in the Rich Text Editor if any format change occurs in the content, such as bold, italic, underline, font name, and other formatting supported in the toolbar. This event will help us programmatically get the font name we chose for our text.

Customize the style sheet type

You can easily customize the style sheet type to load an HTML file from an external or internal file path using the StyleSheetType property.

Note: This feature can be applied only to the UWP platform.

Conclusion
