Sneak Peek at 2023 Volume 1: Flutter

Syncfusion Flutter widgets are written natively in Dart to help you create rich, high-quality applications for iOS, Android, Web, Windows, macOS, and Linux from a single code base.

In this blog, we will see some of the new features that will be rolled out in the Essential Studio® 2023 Volume 1 release for the Flutter platform.

DataGrid

The Flutter DataGrid will gain the following new features in this Volume 1 release.

Sort and filter icons’ position

This feature will allow users to position the sort and filter icons in the column headers to the left or right when sorting or filtering is applied.

Asynchronous support

The onCellSubmit, canSubmitCell, and performSorting methods will be marked as async so that cell submission and sorting actions can be executed asynchronously.

Filter pop-up menu text style

Change the text style for all the elements in the filter pop-up menu in DataGrid. Using this feature, users can set different text styles for the enabled and disabled items in the menu.

PDF Viewer

Adjust the maximum zoom level

In the Flutter PDF Viewer, you will be able to set and adjust the maximum zoom level for a PDF document. This will help users view floor plans and high-resolution documents with better clarity.
