Explore the 5 unique features of React Grid control.
· Frozen rows and column · Column chooser · Filter bar · Lazy load grouping · Infinite scrolling
One of the most important features of the React Data Grid component is the ability to freeze rows and columns. When scrolling a grid, it always keeps the frozen rows and columns visible.
The column chooser feature allows the user to change the visibility of a column at runtime. It provides a list of column names along with checkboxes that allow users to show or hide columns like with Excel filters.
The grid filter bar will appear just below the header and above the first row of a grid. It filters data using various types of expressions based on the column type.
The user can load a collection of records to the Grid on-demand using the lazy load grouping feature. This feature allows you to load large amounts of grouped data to the grid without sacrificing performance.
Infinite scrolling allows the user to load a large amount of data without performance degradation in a lazy loading manner. The data will load when the scrollbar reaches the end of the grid scroller.
