We are working to deliver brand-new .NET MAUI controls that can be used in your migrated .NET MAUI projects with minimal breaking changes. We will update the migration document for each control to make replacing our Xamarin.Forms controls with our .NET MAUI controls in your app easy. Every release we are delivering another set of controls, and over time we will deliver all the equivalents to our Xamarin.Forms offering.
No. The .NET MAUI controls were developed from scratch with the .NET MAUI graphics library and framework layouts themselves with improved APIs and performance.

Syncfusion supports Android, iOS, Mac Catalyst, and Windows platforms. However, some controls may have limitations for a specific platform.

Note: To add our controls to your project, open the NuGet package manager in Visual Studio. Then, search for Syncfusion.Maui and install the required controls.

Syncfusion file-format libraries are compatible with the .NET MAUI platform. You can enjoy using our Word (DocIO), PDF, PowerPoint (Presentation), and Excel (XlsIO) Libraries in your .NET MAUI projects.
Along with four major releases per year and service pack releases between them, Syncfusion provides weekly releases too. If any breaks or compatibility issues occur in our controls with a recent .NET MAUI preview, we will address them in the next possible weekly release.
A valid Syncfusion Xamarin subscription license will provide free access to the Syncfusion .NET MAUI controls when released, since .NET MAUI can be considered as an extension of the Xamarin Forms platform. If you do not currently have a Syncfusion Xamarin subscription, you may purchase one now or alternatively obtain our community edition.
The suite is still in preview. Once it becomes production-ready, you can deploy apps that use Syncfusion .NET MAUI controls to unlimited clients. We only license on a per-developer basis and do not charge any runtime, royalty, or deployment fees.
