What should people know about the subject of your book? Why is it important?
With the growing number of complex UI libraries around, W3.CSS is a simple starting point to getting a consistent look across your application pretty easily.
When did you first become interested in this subject?
As a UI developer, I always try to stay on top of the tools and libraries in our constantly changing industry.
By writing this e-book, did you learn anything new yourself?
Just a nice reminder of how much I love learning new things, and being in a great field for that.
How will this subject change over the next few years?
UI will constantly change, as people start using new devices and ways to interact with the computer. We are now writing applications for the user to view on their watches.
Do you see this subject as part of a larger trend in software development?
Many of the larger libraries require a complete revision to get the full benefit of their approach. Libraries like W3 allow a developer to more easily integrate into existing code bases.
What other books or resources on W3.CSS do you recommend?
I would recommend the W3Schools site as a good point from which to get the basics of CSS and W3.CSS down.
