Syncfusion is proud to announce the availability of the 2019 Volume 3 beta release for public use. This release has exciting new controls and features across all platforms. In this blog, I am going to walk you through the improvements made in the web installer. Support has been added to:
In the latest version of the web installer, you can choose the location where the setup is to be downloaded. In previous versions, the web installer did not support this feature. Now, the setup is downloaded on the system drive by default.
You can uninstall specific platforms of Essential Studio® by selecting the platforms from a list and choosing Uninstall. This works for setups that are installed using offline installers too. To learn more about this feature, refer to our documentation: https://help.syncfusion.com/common/essential-studio/installation/install-using-the-web-installer#uninstallation.
The updated version of the web installer performs both installation and uninstallation of specific platforms of Essential Studio® in a single action. You can select from a list of platforms to install and a list of platforms to uninstall and then proceed with the process.
This makes the installation and uninstallation process so easy, preventing users from having to keep track of the installation process to initiate uninstallation and vice versa. To learn more about this feature, please refer to the following documentation: https://help.syncfusion.com/common/essential-studio/installation/install-using-the-web-installer#install-and-uninstallation.
We hope you enjoyed reading this blog. Use the latest web installer to experience the hassle-free install and uninstall process.
