The WPF Breadcrumb is a navigation control that allows users to keep track of their location while navigating the application along with their history. It provides command binding with MVVM support and data binding via object collection and XML. Other important features include editing, keyboard navigation, history of past navigations, etc.

You can easily connect the WPF Breadcrumb control to TreeGrid/TreeView controls. When navigating the application, you can pair it with the appropriate node in the tree control. The other way around is also possible.
The WPF Breadcrumb control facilitates command binding support, and predefined commands can be configured externally by the user, e.g. the refresh option.

For navigation, the WPF Breadcrumb control allows the end user to manually enter the desired location using a keyboard instead of a mouse. Editing can also be turned on/off at runtime.
The most recently visited folder paths are displayed in a drop-down to quickly select and navigate between them. Filter support is available in edit mode, which suggests matching nodes based on the path entered in the editor, like Windows Explorer. Search history can also be turned on and off at runtime.
The refresh button refreshes the existing view based on the changes in hierarchical data.
The navigation progress can be indicated when handling large data or remote data. The end user can also cancel the progress at any time.
Shipped with built-in themes like Blend, Office 2010, Office 2013, Office 2016, Office 365, Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2015, Metro, etc.
The appearance of the control can be customized to any extent programmatically.
